PRESS RELEASE: Recent Poll Shows Gary Cordery Favorability
On June 16th and June 30th, the Gary Cordery for Governor Campaign conducted Telephone Town Hall Meetings with 9,647 likely Republican Primary voters participating in the meeting. Participants were asked, “In the election for Governor, for whom will you vote?”
131 likely Republican Primary voters responded:
- Gary Cordery 63%
- Someone Else 7.5%
- Undecided 29.5%"
“This poll confirms I am a true contender for this position,” stated Cordery. “The people of Hawaiʻi want a leader who is outside of the political arena, uncorrupted by partisan favors and false promises, and an individual who has proven their ability to succeed in the private sector. I am that candidate and I believe we will see victory in August.”
Contributions by a person to a candidate committee during an election period are limited to $6,000 to a candidate seeking a 4-year, statewide office.
